Demystifying P3 Projects for Architects
Topics:ÌýPractice / Business
Length:Ìý1 hour |ÌýWhat's Included:ÌýVideo, Quiz, andÌýCertificate of CompletionÌý
Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects are increasingly becoming the governments’ preferred method of contracting for infrastructure projects. Architects working in corporate environments are often called by contractors to join a multidisciplinary team based on their specialty and knowledge of the P3 concept. But why can’t every architect be asked to join if they have the architectural knowledge?
In this session we will go through an overview of the P3 contracting methodology. We will then focus on the architect’s role in the Project Company (PCo) and reinforce the notion that P3 projects are not exclusive to large architectural offices.Ìý
